Home to the Mountain

At the end of the decade of the 1950's, a bastard boy returns Home to the Mountain deep in the heart of Virginia, as a young man. Shunned by many and an object of man's cruel condescension as a youth, Clayton McCleary must again face the small-minded thinking of those same bigoted individuals.

Armed with a kind and loving temperament, Clayton wins the heart of his one true love and the loyalty of the few people he can truly call his friends. Now he must face those who would do harm to the ones he loves and fight the prejudice and social injustice wrought by those with hatred in their hearts.

Risking all he holds dear, Clayton's true character emerges to lift the people from his past above the obstacles and barriers that threaten to destroy them all.
