The Evolution from a Boy to a Man

Growing up without a father puts most boys at risk for becoming just like the men who abandoned them.

How can a boy that's been raised in the streets of Detroit change the life that he was accustomed to?

Being in a gang, getting shot and stabbed were just some of the things he was into.

When a certain death in the family leads him back down south, what kind of life could he map out there? Being away from all he's ever known, how can a young man transition and become exactly what he is set out to be? Could he separate his former life from his present life and evolve? Or would he combine both worlds and customize his definition of right and wrong to fit his needs? What would the South have to offer?
