The Tall Tales of Sir Sidney the Snail

Sir Sidney is a loud boisterous big-feeling red apple snail with a large ego that is backed up by tremendous successes throughout his travels as he crisscrosses the globe in his quest to rid the world of the dreaded rasping algae and harmful unwanted garden plants that plague the world's waterways, gardens, and aquariums. Commissioned by Queen Elizabeth after he saved the palace garden from the dreaded South American water hyacinth, he began his diplomatic tour, visiting the countries allied with Great Britain, and offered his services solving problems for their ailing gardens, waterways, and rain forest.Back in Great Britain, his heroic fight against the aquatic pest earned him the title of Sir Sidney of the Pond and won him acclaim throughout the kingdom. This helped to lift the ban against all apple snails throughout England, making Sir Sidney a legend among snails everywhere. Sir Sidney delights in telling his great niece and nephews about his adventures when he visits his nephew Simon and his wife Silvia. Silvia thinks the old snail exaggerates, but Simon isn't so sure and loves listening to his uncle tell stories about his many adventures.
