Submitting a Manuscript FAQs
FAQs About Submitting a Manuscript
What format do you accept for manuscripts?
We prefer Microsoft Word documents but are also open to receiving PDFs or files from other text editing programs. If you have a physical manuscript, you can send it to us by mail. Please inform us if your manuscript is in a different format, as we can often accommodate various formats.
I've already formatted my manuscript. Why is additional formatting necessary?
Printers have specific layout standards, and occasionally, additional space may be needed, mainly depending on the binding method chosen. We employ layout software to adhere to these requirements, ensuring your published book maintains your envisioned appearance.
How can I specify the image placements in my book?
Your Publication Director will guide you through the process to ensure the images are positioned according to your preferences.
If my manuscript is in multiple files, how do I merge them into one file?
You can copy and paste the documents into one file if they are short. If they are long & Microsoft Word files, you can merge them with the instructions here – https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/troubleshoot/word/merge-word-documents
Do I need to double-space my manuscript?
No, we do not require double-spacing as some publishers do.
