Family and Friends

These poems are written directly from my heart about friends, family, and pets with some whimsical stories and tragedies, etc. The poems started with the death of my youngest son. It helped me deal with the frustration and pain of losing him.

Patricia Field grew up in a small town. She married young and had two children by the age of nineteen. A few years later, she became an LPN, then an RN, and worked for twenty-five years in a hospital. At the same time, she volunteered as an EMT for the local fire department. She is a retired RN and EMT. She crochets and dabbles in art.
