Nature's Alphabet, Numbers, and Colors
The inspiration of the book began as Mary was leaving a park in North Carolina. On the way out of the park, the exit went past a group of trees. One of those trees was in the form of the letter N. Mary wondered how many other formations she could find in nature that resembled the letters of the alphabet? After about a year and a half, she had found all the letters, both upper and lower case. She decided to make a book so children could see that if you get outside and really look, you can find amazing natural beauty! So take your children outside, and see what they can discover! The book has the upper case and lower case letter with two examples of something that begins with that letter.
Example: A a -for ant and armadillo F f -for fly and frog M m -for moth and mushroom
Numbers portion of book Example: 1 -one rock 3 -three ladybugs 20 -twenty shells
Color portion of book Example: white -picture of white goat, flower. Black -picture of black bear, swan.
