The book's intent is to uplift one's spirit daily throughout the year with each passing page. The following pages are filled with shared words, experiences, and scriptures--all to help navigate through life's present journey and ultimately bring forth a closer connection and relationship with Jesus Christ.

What prompted me to write a devotional book? It began with an encounter during a haircut, which you will read about in the following pages.

The inspiration behind writing this devotional book comes from my mother. It is because of her avid reading of devotional books, the likes of Guideposts and a host of others, which piqued my interest in reading devotionals. Her habitual reading of such has now become a lifelong practice of my own.

I would like to thank her, my wife, family, friends, and loved ones, and those with whom I had the opportunity to work with over the years, and Jesus Christ. All have influenced the writing of this book.The book is a compilation of stories, proverbs, and idioms shared from famous and not-so-famous people, and, of course, scriptures from the Bible. The hope is to share with believers and nonbelievers alike the need for and the relevance of Jesus Christ in our daily lives.
