The Lost Souls of Fredonia
In the small quiet town of Fredonia, things are about to get loud and nasty. Not wanting to bring back his evil past, the tragedy of his loved one's soul will not rest. Mr. Formizano now must seek justice his way. It is time to torture and kill these teenage punks, parents, lawmen, or anybody who gets in his path! Helping him in his quest for vengeance, he summons a cast of misfits too unreal to believe. These unique villains, along with the unique characters, violence, and killings, will teach one thing: don't ever, ever piss off a wizard!
Growing up in the small town of La Crescent, Minnesota, little did Leonard Burgmaier know this town known as Apple City would one day inspire him to write a book. The first twelve years of his life, he enjoyed playing a lot of sports, outdoor activities such as fishing and camping, and watching horror movies as he listened to bands like Dio and Iron Maiden. He was a great football player in his youth, which really molded his sense of storytelling. Some of the movies that inspired him were Jaws, Creature from the Black Lagoon, and The Shining.
In 1982, his family had moved to Milwaukee, where he graduated from Greendale High School in a suburb of Milwaukee. At the age of twenty-one, he was married with two kids, and this was when he started putting his ideas down on paper for this story. Over the next seven years, he continued to write and complete the book. Unfortunately, life became increasingly difficult for the next twenty years. He ended up with a near-fatal addiction to opioids, getting divorced, and being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
After he ended up getting a second chance at life, he realized that it was time to publish his book, and he thank God each day. Every day gets increasingly harder in the struggle with Parkinson's and addiction, but he won't let his past define him, and he won't let the future scare him.
