The Toymaker
The Toymaker is a science fiction novel verging on reality.
It begins with the disastrous youth of the main character and his obsession with a remote-controlled toy airplane. He matures with a deadly understanding of electronics and remote-controlled toys. Mental depression is also a catalyst for his deeds of devastation.
Born in 1952 Ed Thayer was the son of parents who owned a local grocery store. They were abusive physically and verbally. No drugs or alcohol. His father did help him enter college. He earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice with honors. He became an army paratrooper and then worked at a chemical factory for 25 years. He wrote the Toymaker 50 years ago based on the tiny remote controlled airplanes. Now is the time for this book based on the military drones. His interests now are history and science fiction. His wife is a Filippino RN and has worked for the royal family of UAE. They have been happily married for 25 years. They work at fitness and pray for God's favor for everyone.
